Genki Traveler
Staying to train.
Monthly travel health cover for one to twelve months. The gym's partner page says training, sparring, and unpaid friendly fights are named. Professional sport is not.
Khao Lak Muay Thai
Two policies the gym can point you to. You buy from the insurer, in your own name.
This is not personal advice. Read the live policy for your age, nationality, and dates.
The decision
Genki Traveler
Monthly travel health cover for one to twelve months. The gym's partner page says training, sparring, and unpaid friendly fights are named. Professional sport is not.
True Traveller
Medical and repatriation up to £10 million or €10 million. Muay Thai is not in the standard activity list. Boxing/Muay Thai Boxing, training only, is on the Adventure Pack, and that pack has to be on your certificate.

A short path
Two months at the gym
Pads and sparring, maybe an unpaid show.
UK or Europe
Six weeks in Thailand, and you want a large medical limit. Add the Adventure Pack before contact work. Training only.
You live in Thailand
Look at Genki Native, not a holiday policy. One-year minimum. Age 55 or under at the start.
You do not need a policy to walk into the gym. A normal week of pads is not a hospital visit. A private hospital in Thailand is not free. Khao Lak Muay Thai introduces these two products. It does not underwrite them, collect a premium, or tell you that you are covered.
Questions
No. Policies are sold by Genki and by True Traveller. You apply in your own name. The gym does not take payment, discount the premium, or place the policy.
Genki Traveler, as the gym describes it, names training, sparring, other friendly fights, and self-defence. Professional sport is excluded. True Traveller lists Boxing/Muay Thai Boxing (training only) on the Adventure Pack, not on the standard pack. Their public line says training only.
Genki Traveler can be bought after arrival. If there was no prior cover, a 14-day emergency-only wait applies. True Traveller advertises already-travelling cover. Confirm the current rule on their quote.
No. You pay the insurer's price. A True Traveller link on this site is an affiliate link. Khao Lak Muay Thai may earn a commission if you buy. That commission is not passed on as a discount.
