From 31 August 2026 you apply on thaievisa.go.th from a country where you are a citizen or permanent resident. A visit to a third country is not enough. You cannot apply from inside Thailand.

Gym rates

What you book with the gym.

All of these totals include 7 percent VAT. Half is the deposit. The rest is due before training starts. The deposit starts the enrolment letter.

Papers

Two piles of paper.

The gym issues

  • A Thai enrolment letter for up to 180 days
  • An English invitation stating you will not take local work
  • A stamped course form
  • A tax invoice with 7 percent VAT from Khao Lak Muay Thai Co., Ltd., tax ID 0825565000907
  • A copy of the 5-star camp certificate issued 31 January 2024 by the Office of the Boxing Sport Board
  • A copy of the camp-head registration

After enrolment they request the Board letter that goes to the Department of Consular Affairs. That letter's timing depends on the Sports Authority of Thailand, not on a same-day email.

You bring

  • Passport biodata, usually 6 months' validity
  • A photo from the last 6 months
  • Proof you are a citizen or permanent resident where you apply
  • Funds of at least 500,000 baht
  • A police clearance from your country of nationality or the country where you apply. Some missions want that certificate issued within 3 months, others within 6. Translate it if it is not in English or Thai.
